Our Zoom Pilates sessions have been running since the start of lockdown 1. They have been going really well and we are loving being able to see all your smiling faces each week.
Using Zoom to do Pilates is nice and simple, and it doesn’t mean you have to go really fast. You can use any device that supports Zoom eg: Laptop, tablet, or phone.
The Zoom sessions allow you to begin and continue the benefits of your Pilates work without leaving the house or wearing a mask!
Pilates is a perfect exercise for at home, it is low impact and can be broken down or built up to work to a level correct for every individual. Reducing pain, promoting recovery to become stronger, fitter, and better balanced.
“In 10 sessions you will feel better, in 20 sessions you will look better, and in 30 sessions you will have a whole new body.” Joseph Pilates
Pilates Class Timetable
Our timetable is also available on our website. We are offering 30 minute and 60 minute sessions throughout the week. There are both level 1 and level 2 sessions available.
These can be done as a live Zoom class or a link which allows you to access the class in your own time for a week. All our classes are expertly taught by APPI qualified instructors who are all Physiotherapists. Allowing a personal approach and attention to detail.
The 12 o’clock 30-minute sessions are a great introduction for beginners to Pilates and for those with limited time or those recovering from an injury.
Initially, a comfortable mat and a towel or cushion for head support is all you need to get started, meaning it is accessible to everyone.
We have begun to incorporate some small equipment in our classes to give variety and a different challenge. This includes the Pilates softball, light, and strong resistance bands, and weighted balls.
We have equipment packs available to purchase to allow you to continue to challenge and progress through every session. It is important to ensure you are challenging yourself and this equipment will definitely help with that.
As soon as government guidelines allow, we will make a plan to restart our classes in the studio. But in the meantime, why not try one of our Zoom classes.
